Guidelines: |
| 1. Posts must be "Anim8or
Related". That means that they should be
generally useful to Anim8or users. Off topic posts (about music,
movies, personal communication) are not allowed because they aren't
concerned with things that relate to Anim8or. This is purposefully
vague to allow a variety of useful discussions, but you get the idea. |
| 2. Be friendly. Keep the forums
a pleasant place to visit. "If you
don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all." Don't
start or reply to flames. If you see anything inappropriate email me at
support@anim8or.com and I will deal with it. |
| 3. Post in the appropriate
forum. Give your topic a meaningful name so
someone can tell what its about from the title. "Help" is not
meaningful, nor are cutsie little titles like "How can I". A better
title will get your question answered sooner and save people time. |
| 4. Stick to the topic. If you
have something entirely unrelated to say start a new topic. |
| 5. Don't "bump" old topics to
bring them to the top of the list. Don't
reply to your own posts, use the "edit" tool instead, unless it's
something really new. |
| 6. Don't chat. These are not
chat rooms. Use e-mail, IM or chat rooms
for personal communications. Posts should generally be useful to
someone reading them much later. For example, answers to modeling
questions will be useful for a long time. |
| 7. Don't be afraid to use the
Search button or to read the manual. It will save you time. |
| 8. Absolutely no discussion of
warez, stealing software, CD keys, cracks, etc. is allowed. |
| 9. Profanity or images
inappropriate for a general audience are not allowed. |
| 10. No promotion of other
products, spamming, etc. |
| 11. That's enough rules! |
