Mate, nearly every question you've asked could have been easily answered by the manual, it would take you so much less time than posting on the forum and would save Steve some bandwidth as well.

There is no such thing as a stupid question, Airedale11, but there certainly can be stupid answers.  This forum exists to share information about Anim8or, and it is the correct place to ask questions.  However, I would strongly recommend reading through the manual, and have it open while you are working as a reference.  It does have answers to most of the questions you are likely to have in the early stages of your experience with Anim8or, and where it fails to help you this forum will always be here.

I would also recommend trying the tutorials at the left of this screen, if you haven't already.  The last one, "A simple walk cycle", deals with animation, and should provide you with a fairly solid understanding of the concepts and methods involved with creating animation with Anim8or.  With that basic knowledge you will find it much easier to expand into creative projects of your own.
