messed up render


I'm making this chess scene for a contest on and when I just rendered it it rendered wierd it does it when I render anti-alisized and normal here's a pic

A little bit more information is needed here.
Are you using the default "scan line" render, or are you using OpenGL. You get this kind of stuff with OpenGL, which, I suspect is why Steve wrote his scanline one.

This same problem also happens when you add a light and make it cast shadows, but you don't change it to "ray" type of shadows. The volume shadows aren't yet completed so they are buggy.

I also suspect volume shadows are the culprit.

I just made the lights to soft shadows with a value of 0.00
