i meant just ordinary textures that you put on a component in object mode, as opposed to environment-map textures.

right here :D  i've attached a render showing a bog-standard cuboid (or cube, or rectangular solid, or whatever you prefer to call it), with textures manually applied to simulate what i (mistakenly) thought you meant built 1066 would do automatically.
