The proportions seem slightly off, though that may be my monitor for all I know. The texture is a little blurry, though by the sounds of things you are working on that. The metal doesn't quite look right. It's shiny, sure, but not the right kind of shiny for a soda can. Too white and too perfectly chrome mirror like. Soda cans in my experience tend to be greyer and more matte, depending on lighting.
Conversely, the printed part of the label probably could be more specular. The tab looks rather flat and the indents don't look quite  right either, they looks too solid. It doesn't look like you could open the can.
Any way, those are my observations. I hope I do not come across as too harsh.

Gripitz,

They do seem a bit shorter than the standard twelve ounce cans, but I see that they have started making smaller ones now. Otherwise, very good work--not photorealistic, but definitely fun to look at. I particularly like the clever label design and would buy this product if it were available for the burp factor alone. What program did you use for creating the label?

Thanks For the comments. I used the scan art render instead of Art Ray tracer...the Art Ray is much cleaner. Plus, yes I wanted a chrome affect on the can...but I need to adjust the default lighting so that I dont over shine. The perspective views made the can look shorter than a front view would.
Will work on a short vid just need to figure out how to move the camera around the can. And, I used corel draw for the label but looking for an open source program to improve the label artwork.thanks.

Yea gimp is probably your best bet for a GOOD FREE bitmap editor. If you can find it and can pay money I suggest Fireworks 8 (the one that Macromedia made before adobe bought it out and tore it to shreds (using the word 'shreds' to describe a bunch of hateful and mean words towards adobe (adobe did the same to flash which Macromedia also made (on a side note, RIP Macromedia one of the greatest software companies ever (maybe I should stop with these brackets now))))).

Hello Gripitz,

Very good work here, but wouldn't a perspective view make a better picture?

Nice Can Blick Fang do you have a top bottom view. And thank you for the texture info thecolclough. Ronaldfarmer I had trouble with the perspective view space between the cans...a short vid will help with these issues.
Will post soon Thanks  Everybody. ::)
