Wire Frame Animations...
« on: May 22, 2008, 10:41:04 pm »

Hey Guys,

This is going to be a rather wordy post as I want to explain my intentions and thought this might be the best place on the forum to post this.

I am an avid Maya user, dabbled a bit in XSI... but have always gone back to Maya.

I also teach animation classes for kids in 2D using Flash. It has been very successful, however I am now wanting to teach them how to animate in 3D. I just ran across Anim8or and have only opened it for 10 minutes and already feel like this is something I may be able to teach kids and adults. Not saying I am going to do this yet, until I have modeled, rigged, textured and animated anything using anim80r first... hee hee hee

Okay, with that being said. I have a very off the wall question... and I hope this is the right place to post this.

We are working on a live action TV pilot and need someone who can model architectual buildings, rooms, and location type sites in that old school cheezy bright green wire-frame against black look. We are going to be pitching to several networks in about 3 months and would love to bring someone on that likes to do this kind of work. If it gets picked up, then you will be hired for the duration of the series creating simple roatating models... yeah, I know its not that exciting, but we definitely need someone who is passionate and wants to get their foot in the door or just get some extra cash.

The big question you might ask is why dont I do it myself? hee hee... well, I honestly don't have the time to do it. I run an entertainment company where I am working on 15 kids books, 3 tv commercials... and this live action pilot... so I am just maxed out. :)

If you want to know more about the project you can PM me here or email me at brian@emania-research.com . Just make sure you mention Ghost Tech in the subject.

If you made it this far, I want to thank you for taking the time to bother with this post, and hopefully it was okay to post this here.

Thanks again,

- Brian
