The old splash screen is simple but nice. It remind us of first Anim8or versions.

Unfortunately, changing that would not help for marketing, and Steve knows that.

Maybe the next version will have some render speeder. Unfortunately, rendering in AO take a lot of time for everybory, I have a very decent conputer, but still... I have to wait about 3 hours for a 10 seconds render.
When i make render tests, waiting time is bad, because sometimes we have dead line time.

Unfortunately, you're right, Bobert. Most people are just trying to make simple models, but this is my job and I need to push the limits. Don't wanna loose my clients :). There are also some users like $imon and Floyd who's work is also incredible.
When I decided to use anim8or for my work, I decided to get stuck with it :P. Anyway, as I say it before, anim8or is a powerfull tool, not just some 3d shape program.

Yes, all of it, including the animations I made for the promos.
Iron man and the creature have some soft light effects, made using the same layer for lighter areas  (in video composition), but the rest of them are just pure rough Anim8or renders.

Yea, funny vid. Btw, about that ghosty effect.Try using another video codec. It works for me. I mostly use Xvid MPEG-4, set at 1 (full).

Nice work, cooldude. But, I believe we should also see some branches and leafs. I like how you used the bump map, but also try to modify the mesh. It is a little to straight for a tree.

I've re-rendered it, and yes, the light is placed from behind, and amb. light is very low, because in the sky scene is almost dark. It has an occlusion pass, but only 30%. I tried to use more and it doen't look right.
