ASL Scripts / Re: Reload Textures plugin

It's too bad you can't assign hotkeys to scripts. that would make using script like this Amazing one quicker. Thanks lot's Kubjazz. This is very helpfull!

Maybe next time you should put it in the Work In Progress forum. It also serves as a finished works forum...(correct me if i'm wrong anyone..) But other than that sounds good!

Ok I have found a couple of Tutorials...
If you are interested in controller scripting follow this link that Kubjazz provided me with when I asked the same question:
Also on this page there is a downloadable PDF tutorial on material scripting: just scroll down a little bit. I am working on a bit of a more advanced version of the latter but I will need to dig around a little first. I had gave it to DotAn8 but it looks like there won't be a new one of those for a while...

edit: By the way for the second link only download the pdf, the second link on the page...

I was just wondering. Nothing seems to be happening progress wise with Anim8or. Maybe I just don't look in all the right places or i am misled on how long it takes to program something like this... Has steve just not had the time or has the new version not been posted yet? According to the preview page the last program was updated in 2008...

If you are intrested in making primitve shape scripts check out the plane script. Also there are a couple tutorials on material scripts and some other things. I'll try to find the links.

Looks Awesome! Very realistic! I especially love the wood it really stands out with all the other tile. The head/face thing on the roof really adds to the model and gives it that oriental feel!

Looking really good! I might add a few more of those rock pillars though in the backround. Might give a nice effect. And like Lynn said maybe bring the camera around a bit for a little more of the front view of the dragon. otherwise looks awesome! keep up the good work!

You can find tutorials for other 3D modeling aplications that might help you. I've seen many Modding sites sporting tutorials and using 3ds Max of GMax for modelling. These tutorials could be easily converted to be used in Anim8or. Probably the biggest difference you will find is mirror modeling. which is where you can mirror your object in realtime and change things on one side that effect the other. I do not believe you can do this in Anim8or instead you have to finish your model then you can mirror it. Hope this helps

I was wondering if anyone has written any material scripts that also use textures?

Q: where is his other eye? or did you purposely leave it out?
