I believe there is a Tutorial in one of the DotAn8 mags about how to use UVMapping techniques. It is in the very first one downloadable from here: http://www.anim8or.com/news/dotAN81.zip or if that doesnt work go to the news section of the main anim8or page and look about a third of the way down. It is not any of the two at the very top! The tutorial is a simple one so I don't know If you can use it on you Iron but hopefully it will help you!

ASL Scripts / Re: how do i make the .a8s extension???
« on: July 12, 2009, 02:54:01 am »
As far as I know you should be able to save your .txt from notepad as a .a8s all you have to do is when you are in the save dialog you must select all file types then at the end of the name of your file you must write .a8s. for example I create a script and I go to save it I select All files in the file types then I write in the file name script.a8s
Hope that helps

I have been thinking of ways to make it even better(just to annoy you) One idea I came up with would be to add a Code Browser so that you could look through all the classes in a seperate window(Kinda a built in ASL Database). Just another of my many suggestions...

ASL Scripts / Editing
« on: July 09, 2009, 12:18:21 pm »
If anyone could help me out by taking some time out of their busy schedules to edit this quick ASL tutorial I whipped up. Slightly based on another one I saw but with a little more features. I'd also like to write another one on adding textures but I don't know how to do that yet...

I found a bug I think. If you Try to redraw the text when ther is no text is says Unhandled exception. I am not sure if it does that for you but thought I'd let you know.(in case you want to know all the bugs)

Ahhh That's fine. I understand now. Well I'll bet you'll get a really good grade! I am not sure if this is on your list of things to add but it would be really cool if you could add a play in Anim8or button. So that you could click a button and it would automaticly save and run Anim8or. It shouldn't be to hard.
