General Anim8or Forum / UV Mapper blurs the edges?

I don't like to use UV Mapper because it blurs the edges of my UV maps. Whenever I export a UV Map and import it back in, it looks like this:



Is it because I just use the default cube mode for UV mapping instead of grouping textures to separate parts of the map? The only other reason I can think of is that the map is too small, but there's only so big a map should be for a single mesh.

I want to use ART raytracer so I can use attributes, but apparently it doesn't work on textures with an alpha channel. Is there a way around this, or do I just have to UVMap my entire model if I want to use attributes?

I was wondering if it was possible to switch the textures on an object during an animation.
For example, I want to do a simple model, and instead of using morph targets and different meshes for the eyes and mouth, what if I had a series of textures to map to the eye/mouth area and change them in an animation when I want to animate facial expressions?

I saved this last night, but now it's broken. This has also happened with other files, too. I was wondering if someone could help debug it, or gived me the resources to fix it myself. I'd like to know what to do in the future if this happens again.

I'm just making a thread to post my stuff.

I'm doing the challenges to give me some practice.
I did a funky looking wooden bench with a heart carved in it using the boolean script.
Here's the glasses with ART and material attributes. I'll have to experiment with those more.
