roygee so long as you have a sequence of jpeg in a directory, all u need do is click the first sequenced  jpeg with "add video" and it`ll load all the files in ......if your appending others make sure that are all same resolution frame-rate otherwise it won`t load them

Seems to me feeg, that a  lot of members from across the forums seem to have issues with Spelling! Perhaps its because most of them spend nearly all of their time at school!

Rudy: I refer you back to a comment you passed on Anim8or.org re spelling, and the like

Since the Anim8or community consists of members from throughout the world, INCLUDING those for whom English is not their first language, it seems to me that we all need to be tolerant of foibles that ALL of us make with language, in general.  And, as far as Queen's versus American(ized) English, it also seems to me that what matters most is that one can understand what the author is trying to convey, even if'n it ain't fit 'n' proper inglish, just so's ya kin figger it out.  But maybe that's just me...

Site Looks great to me so keep at it

To be quite honest the problem with textures not being an inherant part of the object is a pain in the butt! ... I use anim8or at work ( when I`m not doing much) on my laptop and quite often I find that an object I`ve been working on is`nt in the flash card that I use and that I`ve left it on the mainframe at home.  So having the textures saved "with" the object would be a good idea.

Whilst on the subject what does the "Save All" in file menu do? as it certainly don`t save anything out as far as I can ascertain. My flash card never blinks at all when I use that command.

Improved UV tool.  Each shape in an object can define it's own UV widget that does planar, cylindrical, sperical or normal projecton of texture coordinates onto that shape.  You can interactively move, rotate and scale the widgent in UV edit mode.  Also UV widgets are saved with the shapes so that the UV tool doesn't force you to restart from scratch wach time you use it.

above from the features list in steves Anim8or previews for 0.96 and also applies to 0.97

when u Have the UV button on and click on the object to be textured a new editor appears "Texture Co-ordinate Generation Parameters " and here you can choose between
1; Planar
2; Spherical
3; Cylindrical
4; Spherical Reflection (normal)

this is far better to use than the old V0.95 Version.

If you have used uvmapper, then the whole model should be in there you can map the whole model  rather than bits, its just a case of sorting the groups out(did you rename the meshes or are they mesh1 mesh2 etc), moving them about, scaling then applying your paint program to the BMP file that is produced ( save it as Jpg) and also saving the object as a Mapped Obj file.

then import the mapped obj  into anim8or and applying the new texture to the whole object.

I would suggest you have a dig around http://Doom9.net see what you can get there as there are loads of codecs that are self installing!

I would hasten to add if you still have the Version 0.95 of anim8or then the UV tool does not work correctly, only  Versions 0.96 and 0.97  work correctly Doug!
