Glad you liked it Ian!

You can turn the lights on and off as well as changing the lights colour, that also adds to the feeling that you want! You get those options in the timeline if you enable those settings.

Steve:
Anim8or is beginning to annoy me at the moment, especially when I am trying to create a scene, as the Copy/Paste is not enabled (never has been  and I do not know if was intentional), but I am forced to load individual objects with the build object command

Now this is fine for static objects that I do not intend to animate as I can group most of these elements in Object mode  and then import them all at once. However, if I am using a number of objects that need to be animated I am forced to load these seperately and here is where the problem begins.

I have to rescale them to fit with the uniform scale tool which is haphazard as there is no function to precisely tweak the scaled dimensions. So some objects are not uniform scaled, some look to big or slightly smaller than others.

I asking that the Object/paste command in scene mode is implemented asap, as well as a precise way to amend the scaling in scene mode, also the ability to tweak locations of objects ( there is the abilty to do this in object mode with the cursor keys but in scene mode there is no fine tuning as the cursor keys control the frame movement. Why are the Function keys not used  F1 thru F12 perhaps these could be utilised?

Anim8or does not Project Light in the physical sense, You have to fake it with an Emssive texture.  Ie if you had two Spot Lights in the headlights of a car It would not project the light, You would need to add a couple of Cones To fake the light.

I did an article about lightcones in an issue of Dotan8 The last one in 2010 you should be able to get it via my dropbox

  see http://www.anim8or.com/smf/index.php/topic,5534.0.html

Along with all the other issues may be of use to you!

I did this some years ago But I used Terranim8or for it, The flames used animated texures (which you can do with Terranim8or)

What Lights are you Using? Locals or Spots?

Use Locals Scaled into each Flame, for Each one set Inner 50, Outer 75

Well done Alec. Looking good.

Although I could build a library...
..... You'll never regret it.
The small effort it takes to export a sequence can repay itself over and over and over again.
IN my 'IMPORT' folder  theres a folder 'FIGURES' and a folder 'OBJECTS' and a folder 'SEQUENCES'.
Even if you keep all files relevant to a project within the relevant project folder, it's also a good idea keeping a seperate copy of every FIGURE, every OBJECT and every SEQUENCE, within those 'figure, object and sequence' folders  (the same as textures)
Lets face it, over time projects can get lost, corrupted or whatever. Many times i've been saved a ton of work, thanks to a saved figure and a bunch of saved sequences to match.

 A sequence library?......Absolutley 100% a good idea.  ;)

Something I always do nowadays, I have Libraries of all my stuff going back to when I first started using anim8or way back in the early 2000s

:)  Got it to upload finally!   Andy some enhancements to your file, I dunno if you wanted this boombox animated but you can add concentric rings to the front face of the box then morph them in and out. I added the speaker but don`t really think it is necessary  as you will not see it ( Unless of course your Pete Townsend from "The Who"

Thanks for your kind comments Claude.

Here we go again with another vehicle I have been working on... just a few bits left to texture then some odd bits and pieces to clean up, especially the track that insist on going the wrong way. and  the problem with the track Morph never saving in its attributes section ( dont know it does this perhaps a new bug )
