Anim8or v0.98 Discussion Forum / Re: Audio in timeline
« on: August 19, 2008, 08:49:31 pm »
I make music and would love to have that feature. If you understand the bpm of a song then you can time the video to go with the music with a little work

If your frames are 30 per second and your music is 140bpm you would have 2.33 beast per second. Even thoe you can't put a frame on the .33, you can get close to the right timing and most people will not notice it being slightly off.

It would be a nice feature to be able to set the time line to work with music.

What would be neat is if object could dissolve and reappear. I wonder if that could be done using key frames and working with transparent.

Anim8or v0.98 Discussion Forum / Shadows are the same color as the light
« on: August 19, 2008, 08:20:29 pm »
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but the shadow that is being cast is the same color as the light. If I use two lights with different colors lets say yellow and blue. The blue light will cast a yellow shadow and the yellow light will cast a blue shadow.

I used the x,y,z bump map in v.95 - It is something I will never give up. It would be good to have them both in one version. Here is the wire frame.

Wish I had a pray tool to color  with. I'll try to export in 3ds and play with it in another program.

How to out put wire frame - I have no idea. Red is for sport cars and this is a sport jet! LOL! Yea, it needs something, but still looks good.

I've been using this program for a few years, but recently I've put focus on doing some real modeling for the past month or two. That thing I created took me about 5 to 6 hours. Aquatic Hobgoblin! Works for me! Reef keeper watching over the Kingdom Of The ????(Fill in the blank)  I'm going to make some more charaters and maybe we could put a story to gether. I could give this one some webbed hands and feet. If I can't make it look good - then I won't make it.

Finished Works and Works in Progress / Physics with the pebel
« on: June 01, 2008, 11:23:49 pm »
In a short distance the peble will travel in a straight line because of volocity. The higher the volocity the longer straight line. Weaker volocity is only curve. As the wheel begins to spin you have weaker volocity which makes the paritcles curve, but as the wheel speeds up - Do the math. Hope this helps
