I like to model high-detail realistic objects, but sometimes take a break and maybe make some cell-shading or something :)

That is why i really like that the anim8or renderer is becoming more and more realistic

Really nice texture! but i would suggest choosing a bit lighter color, maybe not so red. Might just be what i think.
could you perhaps make a tutorial on how you make your textures sometime?

Dude, that looks awsome! You are probably my favorite anim8or modeler, your models have a special style, that i really like!

I just have to ask, is that a image used for texture or just an anim8or material, and if so, what are the settings in render and material edit?

would maybe look a bit more realistic if the lid was leaning a bit forward. and maybe give it a.. uhm, a fold on the end of the lid.. like this:

dude! i really love halflife, and those creatures (at least the last one) really had the "halflife look", if you get what i mean.

i would love to see some models from the combine side too, walkers etc.

keep up the good work, looking forward to more from you! :D

i would suggest making the whole thing in one object, and also remember that the thumb does not come out of the side of the hand, but more or less out of about 45% of the palm.

look at some reference images to understand what i mean.

you should set the specular on the Christmas tree to 0. Because the reflection is in the transparent places as well.. You used transmap right?

If it is ok to do that? well, that depends on what you are using the object for, if it is just a small movieclip, it is ok, but if it is for a game i would not recommend it because there are lots of unnecessary polys, anyway, i fixed your model

i would scale it up in size, then mark only the Y axis and stretch it down to the height you want.

Mactetra, the nice thing about rendering images is that you don't have to keep starting the rendering again.  Anim8or does image sequences without stopping.  So you don't render each frame individually, you still render the movie, but as consecutive images.
Yeah, but when you were to put them together you would need some kind of software that turned images into movies,

Sure you could use windows movie maker, but that would take a loong time and probably lag a lot.

with my way you could edit the small videos together with any video editing software.

Yeah, so, finaly i got together a new project, took me about a couple of hours.

I made this mostly because i really need to work on making mechanical things. So, this is the product.

I really suck at texturing, i know. if you have any tips on how to improve, please let me know.
