General Anim8or Forum / Thanksgiving Project?

Hello its me again. I'm just wondering if anyone wants to work together on making a thanksgiving short. My animating experience can be summed up in this video:

That took me a weekend. The movie will be only a few minutes long and could feature voice actors, I'm sure I could get more students from my school to record.

You click the materials and drag them up. I noticed this is as well but I figured it out pretty quickly.

I like the skeleton, is there a reason why the girl has no face? Just simple 2d eyes and nose would have helped.
Still great little movie well done
I didn't know how to make a head so I put a box over it.

Mine too! That scene took 30 minutes to render in scan line. Then I realized the far wall was hovering above the ground.  :-\

Well I'm going to use this right away... tomorrow. I'm still anticipating the rise of an anim8or that can match blender. I'm using anim8or for animating and blender for modeling because anim8or is so easy and simple and blender has a lot more useful tools.

Well I had like no time to make this but I literally spent every single hour all weekend doing it because its due tomorrow (Monday). Anyways, tell me what you guys think. I'm the dude that made the H&K 416 back a few months ago.

Anim8or v0.98 Discussion Forum / Re: how to create realistic hair
« on: August 27, 2008, 03:03:06 am »
You make a material with the regular hair texture then add the hair alpha as a transmap to the material then make a plane, add the material to the plane, and mold the plane to your model.

Yep rendered in blender, the rendering in anim8or is kind of qwerky to be honest.

I thought this was a question and not an advertisement. I use the nVidia 8600 GTS overclocked to 720 mhz with 256mb of ram at 1056mhz or something like that.

So is this going to be a FPS or any other first person game. I was thinking of doing some advanced platform thats floating in a canyon. You could also tell me to do stuff.

Hey can I help? Give me concept art of something and I'll start working on it. If not I'll create a futuristic gun I had in my head.

I spent like an hour each day for 2 days on it. It was really easy I just started out with a cube with a reference image behind it and just extruded the cube and placed the points to form this shape.
