Just two things, in my opinion, are stopping this from looking incredible:

The roof texture on all the buildings is the same... It is at the same side and same size. If you rotated it around or got some other textures it might look better. Just for variety.

The dome doesn't quite look right. Is it supposed to be glass? Again, maybe a slightly better texture might make it look better.


But it does look great. These are just things which I think will take it beyond great.

Possible, yes, but not very easy. If you want to create something which is forming around another object, then it would be quite hard. By this I mean cloth or something where morphing would be very tricky.

With a trampoline I guess you can do it just once and then repeat it, but for other things it would make life a lot easier.

I just think this would allow for more exploration (including the sight of some animated physics with materials) but I would really like to see point edit mode in scene mode.

Just like in the object editing mode, you can move the points around, but if say you wanted to make a trampoline, that is a lot of morphs to make or whatnot.

So yes. I would like to see what other people think of this suggestion, but it is basically to be able to animate the points on objects in the scene mode.

Think about it...

What is a room?

A room is (at a basic level) 4 walls, a ceiling and a floor. 6 thin cuboids and you have yourself a room... no need for fancy stuff.

The ground texture is far too large...

Click the model for the ground and then press the UV button on the side of anim8or. Its either Alt or Ctrl, but hold it and drag diagionally dowards to tile the texture... you can get results like this:

Render to texture/ baking would be a really nice idea. I find that it is the lighting in my animations which cause anim8or to lag alot and sometimes crash (in other programs lighting doesnt seem to hit as hard...)

So getting the shadows fixed onto the texture would be quite nice- though, I guess you could do this in a scene anyway, depending of the complexity of the model you are baking it onto. If it is like a wall you could set everything else to transparent and place the camera up against the shadowing wall... set it to render this frame at quite a large resolution and save the image and set as texture. Just one thought..

Youtube is down so I cant send a link, but it is on there too.. very good video to see the rain in action and also good for learning about how to do more complex things (the flying paper is really good, gives it a nice feel of physics- as with the bollard)

The textures seem a bit wild with that environment map... the crash also has a bit more to offer... it looks fairly 'wooden'

I guess if it is like a march you could get one figure and add it lots of times to build up a flight, then a squadron and so on.

Just select all the characters to move at the same time and you have a perfectly intime march (which every military drill sergeant/leader wants)

The still looks great, the animation has more to offer.

For the model are you thinking about adding ailerons/rudder/elevators?

For the animation, the movements were far too sharp, but good effort.

I am sorry but after this last term on Frankenstein at school, to see someone make it out that he is green and with bolts just sends shudders down my spine.

Bad points are that you made the character something that he really isnt
Good points are that the dungeon does look quite good
Improvements would be to have that wheel spinning and perhaps tile the texture a bit more. Sparks n Splatter would be good too.
