No problem. I like your work a lot.

Maybe you can do a tut on making the spray around the boats? It's very effective.

Hya Fix that link doesn't lead to a specific page :(

Mons. Smeagol: Terranim8or has a noise plugin - I think.

Hya Nick

I had a play with your script yesterday (not the new version) and it is fantastic!

The possibilities are endless. (Well almost endless)

Thanks again

Hmm, my system does the same thing. Never did in the past. Now crashes after x amount of frames. Roygee traced his problem down to overheating. I use my laptop to render now.

My suggestion is to download Enditall. It will shutdown most applications in the background including your virus proggy, so maybe disconnect from the internet first?>??

Add figure in scene mode. At first there won't be any morphs.
Then add the object that makes the figure into the scene mode.
Delete   that object.
The morphs will magically appear on your figure.
Presto :)

Wonderful job as always Kreator!
I particularly like the featured artist's work but I though the gratuitous nudity was a bit over the top!

But seriously, I am honoured ;)

Great work!

Leslie of terranim8or fame should know. He worked with stars etc so I'm sure he would have found the limits at one time.

Post a question on the org site in the terranim8or section perhaps?

Hi cumesoft. Sorry I didn't see your post :(

Good idea on the subdivision

Above image is the lens I used, which is subdivided, but flattening one end has given it a less than spherical shape! So maybe that is the wierd distortion?

In real optics I think the bend would actually go the other way to reduce spherical abberation!

Thanks for pointing that out. Thanks for commenting on my youtube work too!

I've had a look at your work and am impressed.

cheers

Hello

Please find a an8 file for a compound microscope.

It has an eyepiece and and objective - both made from a pair of  lenses.

The scene has a morph that slides the objective towards the eyepiece.

All you have to do is change the 'lens" material to reflect your choice of refractive index. Go to scene mode, choose view camera and render it.

Feedback appreciated.

Dowload. here: http://waxfin.googlepages.com/microscope.an8

Here are some tests made in another render with the same mesh.

The magnification changes as the objective lense set moves towards the viewer.

Other refraction tests to wet our appetetite now anim8or has ART.
