Ok i haven't worked on these much yet but i tried to make a decent job of the textures. The texture map is 3000 x 3000 pixels so theres plenty of detail there, i also created a high res bumpmap for it.
At the moment this is just the plain landscape with no other objects on. The two render below were done using firstly the Art renderer and then the second with the scanline renderer. The art renderer only took a min or two but the scanline took about 2 hours! You can really see the improvments made on render time with the art renderer! Resulting images look virtually the same!

I'll upload these and some more images to the website soon when i get a chance to update it.

Nice render.  I feel it needs a little more illumination though.

Awesome environment, very realistic, especially from that viewpoint.

I'm yet to add in all the trees and buildings so that will be next. I might also add some other hills in the background to add more realism. The sky used there is only a temporary sky map and i'm going to be making a better one for when i make the outdoor animation shots.

That looks cool! Nice textures, Perfect effects 4 a landscape, I just can't wait to see the next one!
