Front burner, back burner........ I'll take anything I can get. Gonna get the rest of the costume going for now. Got that, and a Buzz Lighter that are a "must complete" for Halloween.
I wanna add, its nice to find a (internet) community that is welcoming and willing to help. Not much of that around these days.
I hope to be able to get more into this "ARTform". Definitely gonna set my sights alittle more in reality.

Any chance anyone still giving this a shot? Just wanted to know if I should be going a different way. I will admit, I have completely given up on this. My respect for those who have mastered(or atleast are trying too) this talent, has increased tenfold.

About 60% done. I should have it finished by tomorrow. You won't be able to animate it without some serious modification, but for static use it'll be fine.
--Just noticed you wanted it to be used for pepakura. I guess I have to make a pepakura version...

Ok, the highres version is complete, mostly for my amusement, I guess. I'll make a reduced version that'll work better in Pepakura, or you can try reducing it yourself or use the unsubdivided model (messy).

Holy S#!+, your a beast! Its definitely going to be for pepakura, so Ill wait for what you feel is best. I know that the lower the res. the better(or I should say, easier to work with). Thankyou so much for this. I will send pictures to you of my progress. BTW, will the one you do for pepakura be in the appropriate file type? Not to sure how it works from here. The pepakura stuff, Ive got down. I just wouldnt want to ruin anything during a conversion. Again, thankyou so much!

Only noticed this thread couple of days ago. Might have given this a shot myself. And now I know what 'pepakura' is. Pretty amazing stuff. Learn something new everyday.
'usajdm' you're in good hands for sure.
Nice job Raxx (exceptional work)

usajdm, I finished the reduced version, leaving it mostly in "mask" form. If you need the entire head, I can finish it up. It's a little bit cleaner than the unsubdivided model, but it'll still be a lot of folding and cutting, so good luck if you choose to use it. I'll let you do the pepakura work to get it to unfold the way you are most comfortable with. The .an8 file contains both the high-res and low-res versions. Hope it helps!
(and CrashDrive, thanks)

Thanks, but it was in fact rendered in Anim8or using a very simple setup. It's in the file attached to that post.

Man, this is wonderful. The "low" res looks like its gonna work perfectly. So seriously, am I being a total ass, to ask if you could do the back of the head in the low res rendering? Weather you do or not, thankyou! Im gonna post up some pics tommorow night of something else Ive been working on, hopefully itll help you see how serious and appeciative I am of all "arts".
One other question........ for anyone, whats a good way to transport this file into pepakura? It wont just load right in. Any suggestions?

I think? in pepakura it should be an .obj OR 3ds file you will need to convert head back to a mesh I expect as its subdivided. To do that double click on the object head, and a parameter box will pop up change the working divisions from 2 and 3, back to 0 and 1, click Ok, then with object highlighted, go to Menu/Build and convert to mesh. Now export the model as either .obj or 3DS or do both! Good Luck.

usajdm, as Kreator mentioned, in Anim8or go to Object->Export, save as file type .obj. Then open that in pepakura. Kreator: that's the high-res model, he'll be wanting to use the low-res model that's not subdivided Also FYI, when you export a subdivision object from Anim8or, it exports it in its unsubdivided state, so there's no need to manually change the working divisions prior to exporting! Attached is the final version. Contains the high-res model, low-res model (with back of head), and the scene it was rendered in.
