yeah, the main site uses frames so he posted the main site instead of his actual page.

i think this is what he meant.

Getting Startted Part 1: http://members.home.nl/rouweler3/Anim8tor_basic_instruction.htm

and Getting Started Part 2: http://members.home.nl/rouweler3/Anim8tor_tutorial2.html

I'm sorry, I didn't think it would be that difficult to realise that the "tutorial" button on that link is the one with the tutorial on it.

well, doing the tutorials on the site teach you everything you need to know, you can't have one tutorial covering everything, it'd be good to have something like blender's noob to pro, but you';ll just have to keep switching between tutorials

here we go, here we go, here we go!!!

1: create a model in Object Mode.
2: switch to Scene Mode by  Menu/Mode/Scene
3: Import any of your models in Menu/Build/Add Object
3a : make sure all your models are imported in object Mode before you begin
4: To add background Menu/Settings/Enviroment
4a: From this bit you can add a picture, Click off the checkerboard or leave it on if you so desire

From then on,  you might ask how do I add a ground floor etc ... but that will be answered in another post i expect ......why not visit http://animanon.xtreemhost.com where some of your questions may be answered.

Cheers

Since you want to animate, I'd say this would be the best tutorial for you: http://www.anim8or.com/tutorials/simplewalk/index.html
It should teach you the basics of modeling, creating a figure and animating it.  I hope that helps!  Also, if you haven't already, read the manual!  It is very helpful.
