I have, i don't like the new warnings for different things, and i really dislike the start menu. also there are lots of bugs in vista at the moment.. maybe i will buy it when a proper, bug-free version is released. But until then, XP is more than enough for me.

anyway, another update, made the arms. They are not properly attached yet, but i will get to that.

ok, I had a look at some referances (bought a small wall-e toy as well.) and realized that i had modeled the whole upper body wrong. so, som hours of irritation and building i ended up with this.. the reason it is a wireframe is because i am sending the same image to a friend and he wanted to see the wireframe

so far it's
6296 faces.

so, once again an update on my Wall-E, just started working on the belts, so remember, they are NOT done at all, i think the proportions are a bit wrong, so maybe i will remake them.

anyway, here is the new pic, some response would be nice, both positive and negative accepted Smiley

Wow, the detail on the tread is great!  Lots of work.  I can tell.  have you started picking your materials yet.  That is what took me the longest.  Here is some of what I tried...

We should start a Wall-e the robot club!

I have some nice textures, i can uppload them later, they are really from a papercraft model of wallE. so they basicly look like a UV map Cheesy

I am not going to use these for textures, but maybe some of it, and they are really a help when it comes to references for the textures.

Nice job on Wall-E Smiley The gears in the treads look like it could do with some more work (seems different in the movie version) but you seemed to hint that that was still in progress so good luck Wink

Heh, papercraft does the work for you, eh. Watch out for copyright infringements! (just trying to give you a scare Wink)
