We made it clear we won't be using lightsabers. And please don't spam this topic with posts that dont concern the movie any longer. benney - maybe you could also keep the music you made for outdors - windows are veeeery big... lol however you like it. Morprok - good list. Maybe you could make it look cool (like colores and stuff, check out my smiley website for example of what I mean - link and maybe add some space for the models that are made by certain person and modelt that are in progres, and models that person reserved for themself but hadn't started modeling it yet. That would be GREAT !!! - and maybe you make it so everyone can edit it? (if that's possible - so we can report in our progres, [just an idea]) I'm having hard time chosing the right materials/textures for the torch... nothing seems to fit nicely... ty... but I'll get it somehow... Morprok Junior Member	posted 02-23-2006 01:10 PM Mr. Smeagol - I can add colors no problem but it's the "let everyone update their entry and progress" thing that I can't do, mainly because I dont know any languages that allow you to. That came out wrong. I don't know how to program something like that but I am currently trying to learn PHP. benney Junior Member	posted 02-23-2006 03:36 PM Hello Morpok. I am essentially a newage kinda guy with a good classical edge and a twist towards the 80's. The hardware I use is a Roland XP-10 and a YamahaYPP200 digital piano. The software I use is Sonar4,Fruity Loops, Making Waves, CubasisVST4, and many more. it is all dependent on the music style I am creating. in your case you would probably be better with something like Fruityloops or making waves as these are the main units for the style you mention. I use Sonar Home studio 4 XL..there are better software packages out there but for the price and the amount you can do its worth every penny...I use it to sync all my Anim8or projects to music..you can import video into the software and edit/sync away... here is a sample of a sound track I was playing around with.if you have a realy good system to play it on..it realy drops..Quads...hits..bases.or what ever the term is for your genra..lololol http://www.savefile.com/files/9795729 . I was testing the new RXP drum kit I just recieved when I upgraded to 4 XL...realy cool...and has a ton of brum kits..If you are new to music software it will take you some time to learn it..also Benny has a very nice website on the ins and outs on music makeing..I cant find the link but Iam sure Benny can give it out..I will bookmark it again when he does..His website is a must read..it has alot of vauble resources.. I surprised myself, it actually looks pretty good, Like I could put it some trees and have a forest. It takes a few seconds to render though. I think Ben maybe just didn't read all the posts. To Ben: if you actually wanted to help and we insulted you, we're sorry, come on back. But read the topic and the script first, OK? I wasted some money on Techno Ejay 4- it's rather easy to make songs, but it isn't really professional, it's hard to see anything in the workspace, and the variety of stuff you can make starts to get limited. And I script it all by hand, in fact, I don't know how to use Front Page and I generally despise editors like that mainly because they're too easy lol. I like to do a lot of things manually and HTML is one of those things although I suppose they are nice to have around when you need to make a table with a lot of rows and cells. Hey, I think I even have a copy of Dream Weaver somewhere in my room. Oooh, I think I'll install that lol. But anyway the page might not be edited for a while because I'm putting all the data in Excel first so I can easily look back and see what I need to put in. IP: Logged

There's a lot of people working on this movie, it's hard to keep track of everyone and I have Front Page 2000. I also found out that the copy of Dreamweaver I have is just a blank disc and I have no clue how that happened seeing as how I've used that disc before to install Dreamweaver on another computer so I guess I'll just download a demo of it. The ships are simply downloaded from trekmeshes.ch and randomly positioned. Then some lights to make the registry lightings and nebula lights effect the ships. Make sure to render anti-aliased.
