Like we had on the yahoo board, i think we should do a list of who is doing what, so we know who's in and what there doing! Since i have many hours of spare time on my hands i'm willing to do it, just make the topic on the cabspace forum and put what you're doing, the list i make will be in html so theater will be able to but it on the site so every 1 can easily view it And plese stick to jus 1 'EDIT:' tag as the whole p.s. / p.s.s. / p.s.s.s. is very hard to read, understand and it realli isnt practical! EDIT: The department's idea is a great idea, there should be each departments section to have there little own forum on the cabspace forum, each with it's own leader/mini director, and if no-one objects i would like to be head of anim8ting or head of the action sequences departments, both would be nice With departments it will make communication easier, just talk to head of department instead of wading through all the people registered to find some 1 to do a specific job. PR_7 i think u should be nominated too... you have already been like a leader to us, as well as MP3D, you've kept us going this far, and will most probably keep us going till we have something to show for ourselves, like a preview movie [This message has been edited by feeg (edited 06-21-2006).] IP: Logged |

I have made the universal face model. Pieces like the nose and mouth can be edited and morphed, then easily attached to the face. I will see how to load images here for a brief editorial and let you guys vote. downloading this source will save tons of character modeling time. IP: Logged |

I spent last 5 hours making working website for the movie - to get things organised. Since I will most likely be the Modeling department leader it would be my job to keep things organised. So this is how I would start if I'm chosen. This is also a little more than just for modeling departmant. Here we will have everything important on one place. Mostly we should be centered around the Cabspace board. I just posted a much better concept art for Mr. Smeagol and Woof. Pretend the horse looks like a horse, ok? Good website Mr. Smeagol! HOW OLD IS YOUR PC! sorry not bein serious... i'm just messing but looking at the ole win98 sys and that old mediaplayer icon just made me all nostalgic and everything...  ok now thats out the way... Great site smeagol, simple and effective, i'll start some work on the commercial site just to get some concepts going and see what people think/like and for the quick messaging thing, use a shout box... search google for free shout boxes... there's plenty about... and a note to hollywooddovw... when you take a screen shot perss 'Alt Gr'+ screen shot... it takes a shot of just teh window your using insdead of the whole screen! Too much jaw on the King's head. That should be in the Cabspace Forum Modeling section. I have been putting out character designs, hollywoodofvw. Most of the websites are posted in the Movie Progress topic, and a few of them are just a few posts above you. alright hey, I havnt been around lately, been kinda busy expecially since summer's rolled around, got vacation trips and stuff, well anyway, i'm going to start som models, I'll prob do the walkie-talk, the only thing i must ask is that as soon as I'm done with my models someone else could texture it for me. If you do that I'll consider the model as urs u can take full credit for it. I just want to see my models used. I don't care if anyone knows it was me. That being said my camera model is still up on the yahoo site and it hasn't been textured if anyone wants to take a crack at it. Also, you can change the model around as you see fit. IP: Logged |

H., here's some constructive critisim: get a better PC. anyway, when u open Hair Gen, it should ask you what file u want to add hair to. before u open Hair Gen, copy the file name of the pic u want to add hair in. okay we are all spread out as to where to post our work, send models, post requests and updates. isn't this Bob's baby in all? I would like for him to write it out in official so we can all clarify something like this... 1 post work files here.... blah blah 2 recieve assignments here... blah blah 3. official movie site is here ... blah blah 4. post finished assignments here... blah blah I'm not trying to be recieved as challenging, but there are least two sites now, a chat link, the yahoo site, the cab space site, we are just way spread out and we need some instruction. Hello Anim8or Community. This post is important to read so read on..... The old website that was created for the Anim8or Movie project has been closed and a new one has been constructed. So you are probably woundering why...On the old Website we did not have access to any of the functions to control the Website and keep it organised for the project. The new Website ( http://anim8ormovie.14.forumer.com/ ) will allways be there.So registering will be a one time thing. The New Website: The new Website is split into departments. Each department has a Supervisor for that Department and that Supervisor is responsible for running that department. So it keeps things easy and simple. So what does that mean for the Anim8or Community and the Anmi8or Movie project. It means once you go to the new Website and register it's just a matter of clicking on the department you want to help in and then read the 'Sticky topic'. The sticky topic will explan everything you need to know on how to join that department and what Department supervisor to talk to. At that point the Supervisor will contact you and let you know what to work on for the Movie....
If you are just starting out useing Anim8or this is the perfect opportunity for you to learn the ropes in the shortest amount of time. You will be working with people who know what they are doing and will help you when you need it. You will be part of a community effort to create a movie useing Anim8or. As the movie grows so will your experience/skill level in 3D. And for those who know how to use Anim8or this is the perfect opportunity to show off your experience/skills and to help those who want to learn. And to be part of a communtiy Movie project. That is for those who have joined and are working on the movie to decide. Right now it is called..... Anim8or The Movie project. Once we have people who realy want to help see this movie finished we will ask for concept names for the movie and then Ask PR_7 to choose one. PR_7 is our dirrector for the movie he wrote the script. So it will be up to him on how he handles this... But that wont stop us from working on Anim8or The Movie project. Ok i will stop here...All the information you need to know is here. This site is a way to view what is going on realy quick.. and this is where you join to work on the movie.(read the sticky topics in each department this will tell you what to do.)

mahimahi42, We havent posted anything because we are trying to keep Steve's bandwidth down. So we have been working on the movie @ the Movie website located here: http://anim8ormovie.14.forumer.com/ We are more oranized @ the new hang out. The movie is still going...cool....
