$imon modeled and rendered the fancy picture frame in Anim8or  I tried to find one like it at the local framing gallery, but no luck!  $imon first made a basic render using 3 local lights, an ambient-only pass for the soft shadows, and a reflections-only pass in Anim8or.  Then he combined them in Photoshop for the final image.  The three base images are shown above.

$imon usually works in 3D Studio MAX but he also does a few things with Anim8or.  I can sure learn a thing or two from talented artists like him!
