Finished space sequence

Ok, I've finished (or at least abandoned) the space movie thing.  Here's the YouTube link:

The opening sequence of 32 seconds (800 frames) took over three solid weeks to render, fully anti-aliased this time.  This was the most fun I have had in ages (I know, I have no life).  I am moving away from the whole science fiction thing for a while, and have started building a medieval castle.  Hope to post something here soon.

Wow, that was really, really well done!  Congrats on a really good job.  That's an amazing render time, too.  I don't think I could ever just let my comp render that long ;).

Roygee:
Congrats ENSONIO5 - a fine piece of work.  Did you actually render 24/7 for 3 weeks - wow!

ENSONIQ5:
Thanks guys.  Yeah, it really was three weeks.  I got so sick of the sound of my CPU cooling fan... nearly pulled the pin several times.  Infact, the first attempt to render failed due to a power outage after a week and a half.  AAARRRGGHHH!  It would have taken much longer if I hadn't blown $100 on another GB of RAM.  At least Anim8or isn't too resource hungry and I could still email and web surf.

Woa! Dude! That's impressive. Technically accurate, too, with the retros and the re-entry sequence etc.
Not sure about the music, however. I think that would be more suited to the medieval castle...  ;-)
