nice materials!  it's definitely robot or helmet rather than organic, now.  would be interesting to see the rest of the body?

heres the rest of it.only just finished this bit. its all made from a sphere originally..mainly trial and error..but mostly error ;D

EDIT:theres one with a shield thing and one without, not sure which ones better
