Xmas

lynn22:
There's a lot of animating involved in my Xmas animation so I started early to be finished by December ;)
It's a good thing that it is taking that long for since then I switched from V 0.95 to V 0.97c and what a spectacular change in the rendering with ART.

The first image was made back in July, today I did the second one. Not only are there the additional shadows but also the crispness of the details. Thank you Steve.

headwax:
Amazing difference!

It's a nice, homely Christmas scene. May I suggest the edition of a skirting board? Seems to add some semblance of reality.

lynn22:
Thank you Headwax.

First time around I had thought of skirting boards but I had rendered too much to do it all over again and then I had forgotten about them. Thank you for reminding me.

Since I am re-rendering anyway the carpenter came and fixed the skirting boards.  ;)

falloffalot:
I like the way you've done the fire and in the later renders the chair and table look more attached to the floor with great shadows.
Nice work lynn22

lynn22:
Thank you  falloffalot.

The animation starts with a near dark room with only the fire flickering. Then, slowly, the lights go on to the strength in above pics.
Then the action starts  ;D
