i was about to say "i don't think there should be - surely the whole point of emissive components is that your object has a constant glow-in-the-dark factor, which stays the same irrespective of what the lights are doing in the scene?" ... but then again, it could be very useful for things like making a control panel light up, or making a fire flicker, so yes, if you can make it work, that would be pretty cool.
