Fatty Green Monster -WIP-
hihosilver:
First, those are the correct corners for the eyes I'm talking about, but you shouldn't actually merge the faces. What you want to do is just push in the edges around that section of the eye so that you get a smooth transition too the face from the eye socket. I also feel that the eyes should be inset into the face a bit more, which would only require you to move the points around the eye back into the head a bit more.
As for the nose, I can't help you fix that unless you show me an unsubdivided wireframe :p
sorry for all the wireframe requests, but it's easier to fix something like that if I know how exactly all the polies are put together. So basically what would be nice is the same wireframe you're showing here, but not subdivided (you can double-click the object and change the 'working' parameter to '0')

I was actually just looking at the unsubdivided wireframe, to figure out what needed to be done... Hopefully the attached picture is what you want to look at. Also, I just want to say that I really appreciate you giving me out tips like this. They are really helpful.
(I took out the eyes so that you can see the model better)
Also, I [think] I know exactly what you mean by smoothing out the corners of the eyes. It makes sense to me now. :)
hihosilver:
Thank you, the attached picture is exactly what I wanted.
I drew in two different ways you could change the mesh to get proper edgeloops. The method in red is the simplest as you can see, though I'm not quite sure if it will get rid of mesh deformations, though it probably will. The second way shown in blue just continues the edges to form a new loop around the face. I feel it gives more control on the mesh, though it could also clutter up the mesh. So it's all up to you what method you want to use ;)
Lastly I included a small yellow line on the chin where you want to connect the two vertices with an edge.
I'm glad you think you understand about the eyes :)
kingku:
Thanks for the useful examples. They make everything much clearer.
I was wondering if that second (blue lined) way would work. Like you said, I was thinking it might clutter things up more. I'll definitely try both ways out and post the results! :D

Alright a few pics- updates...
This is just of the general loops...
The better eye socket... (still needs work)
Random scaryish render. :)
