Nice!  It could be improved by having the ball move up and down a bit as well as bulging, ie.: up when round, down when bulged.  Great start, keep it up!

well, like i said. it only took half an hour and it was my first animation.

Good start, and welcome to the forums.
There's no need to defend yourself though, Ensoniq5 is simply giving you a little piece of advice you can choose to acknowledge or disregard.  Either way, it's best to take it all in.
I do agree with him though, a slight movement up and down (keeping the volume of the blob somewhat constant) would make the animation more believable.
