Thanks very much for your comments Spicy and Captaindrewi.

It's amazing what a set of realistic eyes will do for a character as far as "alivening" them up.

Todays work, started texturing the hands. The suggestion of knuckles and tendons is via bumpmapping. In the second pic, photoshopping gives a slight blur to the furthest hand adding a little distance.

Going to try rigging the hands seperately and making them a child of the main figure.

I'll keep the thread locked so I don't keep checking back :)

hard to get good anatomy shots of a leopard's legs

have only uv mapped the head so the textures on the body are stretched
