$imon:
It's a shame spec maps dont affect the reflection attribute.. it wouldve been nice to see the result if thatd been possible..

Nice work so far though Tanzim! very realistic indeed (except the anim8or floor haha). Keep it up!

Steve:
Adding support for textures in the specular channel for reflection is a good idea.  I've added it to "the list".

headwax:
Thanks Steve, you are a good fellow! It's great how you keep working on anim8or.

Tanzim

these things circled, I think it's cause the insides are so black and have no definition makes them look at odds with the rest of the render

Sorry don't know what they are called

kreator:
Nice board Tanzim!, BTW they`re SATA inputs, No Processor or Heatsink Fan or can`t you afford it yet?

Tanzim:
$imon: thanks, guess we'll be waiting for the next update eh? And to be honest, most of the realism comes from texture, not my modeling.

headwax: I see what you mean, I'm not too sure how to overcome this, but I am thinking of just creating semi-transparent materials, although that would mean render time would be huge.

kreator: I was thinking of just modeling the mobo, because I have a few the projects that I want to get out of the way. Maybe once I finish those, I'll come back to this. BTW: There aren't any fans for the heatsinks, there is a fan over the processor and graphics card etc, though.

Anyways, the newest render has textured ports, and capacitors. I've put the camera at a different angle to see if that would cure the problem headwax mentioned, as you can see it didn't :-[.
