Can somebody giving me a simple tutorial on how to skin bones with one model? Like a full body model and adding the bones to it

it has a ton of videos on that page and i think they all tried to start at the same time. i had to restart my copmuter cause it completely froze up i couldnt even ctrl alt delete my way out.

ill check it out again. i would like to see some of ur videos. i think ive only seen one of them. and i dont think its ur accent i think ur really deep voice.

edit: i checked the site out again. this time they didnt try and start right after they loaded. maybe it was somethin on my end that made my computer go nuts.


edit2: ive had ur site up in the background for a few minutes and some of them are starting automatically. and i cant stop one of them. FISHY FISHY FISHY.

its only the sound too the video wont play.

i actually like your tutorials the deep voice thing was a response to why some1 doesnt like them. the only thing wrong (atleast on my end) is you cant fast forward or rewind. so if ur 7 minutes in and u miss something u can rewind a minute back and watch it again.

kreator, admittedly I haven't actually tried to follow any of your tuts, but if you want honest feedback, I'll tell you what I think out of what Ive seen: your too hard to understand. You mumble. That combined with your accent I think makes it hard to follow along.
I know you cant really help your accent, but that's why you should maybe sit further back from the mic and speak a bit louder, and enunciate more.  Try to avoid filling gaps with "uhhhh" and "umm"s so much.

I haven't made any tutorials myself, so I cant say mine would be any better, but just as a casual watcher that's why I don't think your tuts have been very good so far.  if you have to maybe try and close caption the vids.

Hope I wasnt too blunt, Im not trying to offend, just offer constructive critism. This isnt really the topic for this though.

Your mic is alright, its just that you don't actually explain what your doing. You make a full model instead you could just do a little simple model. Like for the skinning tut that is 30 minutes long. You took most of the time adding the bones and stuff. Instead of skinning an entire raptor it could be just 2 bones and a block. Telling how to skin it and Making the block bend with the bones.

thats the bad thing abot all the tutorials ive seen. most arent direct. poeple go off on a wierd tangent unrelated to what they are even doing. usually the 1st five minutes they are talking aout how thier day went or something. i always skip half of the tutorial and just find the points. im thinking about making a tutorial but the porblem with me is that i really dont have the knolwdge to do much. maybe ill figure something out and attempt to do one. i just thought id chime in with my 1/2 cent.

and since this whole topic was about a skinning tutorial i think ill learn how to skin and try and make a video.

RetroZombie, I would be careful about being too critical of someone who just made a tutorial for you.  Throughout the entire thread I've seen people attempting to help you to get the best tutorial they can for you, yet not a word of thanks coming from your side.  Try being a bit more tactful.  If you think someone's tutorials can be improved say so politely after you let them know how grateful you are that they took up a lot of their own time to help you learn something that many of us learned through google searches and experimenting.
If I seem to be coming down a bit harsh it's because I am, you make some valid points but a bit more respect and tact needs to be coming from your end.

 Personally, i've watched a few maya video tutorials, and found that they dragged out for far too long.
 Theres an old saying, along the lines of 'you cant please everybody'.
 I prefer a tutorial that will keep me interested. If its 30+ minutes long, chances are i won't watch the whole thing. Not only because i'm bored with it, but it will cost me an arm and a leg to view on my phone connection.
