1966 Jaguar E Type
jaguar42:
Hello,
Here is my first model: it's my 1966 Jaguar E Type.
Render:
Wireframe:
The interior is not done.
The front part (motor, frame and supension) is in progress.
The rear part and a wire wheel will be uploaded soon.
Any input will be appreciated.

When you say your first model... Do you mean on this forum or ever? Cuz either way, it's an amazing model! Looks like the real thing! (was http://www.seriouswheels.com/images/a_1966_Jaguar_E-Type_Coupe.jpg your reference?)
jaguar42:
No, the reference is my car. See my photoalbum in Photobucket (search jaguar42).

Awesome model going there jaguar42.
Be even awesomer if you keep that detail up throughout. The wire wheels will be worth the effort. ;)
Can't wait to have a look under the hood. Is that a straight eight?.
Cool car. Cool model. Nice. :)

Early Jag XKE's had straight-six cylinder engines. The later, 5.3L engines were V-12's, like Ferarri's. Back then, most cars had plenty of room under the hood, and I had a friend back in my college days (late 60's, early 70's, Ugh!) who dropped a 327 V-8 in one of the early models. Could that beast haul!
Nice progress on the model, jaguar42! Once you finish it up, I hope to see a final render in a nice scene with proper lighting.
