Building a spartan (FINISHED)

Navek:
The latest in the spartans arsenal.

... Ps. hard surface uv mapping, not fun...

Been a long time since I posted an update... The project is still alive and going strong though. After a while of struggling to animate with anim8or I've decided to move the animation/rendering phase into blender, simply because of IK and faster render times (still using anim8or for the last of the modeling though).
Progress wise, the full set of characters is rigged textured and ready to go, 80% of the props are finished, environments are all around 50%, and animation is getting underway.
Also wanted to thank you guys for the support, I just have a random collection of images from the last couple months for this update, but I'm hoping to have a video teaser/trailer of sorts up here by the end of the month.

Navek:
Well I promised updates by the end of the month... not quite a trailer, thats still on the way, but a couple 'posters' I whiped up. As I mentioned in the last post these are rendered/composited in blender, modeling done in anim8or, and lens flares/ titels added in photohop.

Ps. hope y'all don't mind me still posting this project here now that its not strictly anim8or anymore, you guys have been a great help!

First of all - congratulations on the huge progress. I'll be looking forward finished trailer!

About posters: first one has classic type of composition (all characters lined up), but I somehow like 2nd more. Second one shows more interesting environment and dynamic pose, but a centre of it is a bit empty IMHO. I'd place there another figure or vehicle or prop or I'd shift the second character from left - still I prefer it over 1st and 3rd. Third one has a bit chaotic composition (I don't know where to put my eyes on) and I don't know if it's good to place a dead character on the first plan of your movie's poster.

I know I promised a trailer almost a year ago, and i still don't have one but... I do have the finished project here >

Just wanted to say a HUGE thanks to the whole anim8or community and to steve. Even though this project wasn't finished in anim8or, without it, it never would have been started at all! Thanks to everyone that gave me tips along the way and had interest in the project, you guys kept me motivated!

And of course some still frames.
