I looked at a picture of a horse and foal together to compare them. I made the body shorter and skinnier, the nose shorter, and the ears and eyes bigger.

Are those transmaps? Sweet. I've never gotten around to making a model that needed them.

yep, transmaps.  I use those a lot.

In my opinion, I would try modeling the tail and hair, instead of using transmaps. Transmaps are good for things like fences, windows, fancy designs, glasses, etc. Flat stuff. But this is actually a solid object so I might would try just modeling them.

But it's your deal. ;)

Me, I have a microphone, but I seriously doubt I'd be able to do voices for you, sorry..
