Graph Editor linked to Excel

Hello,

I want to link the graph editor (more precisely the x,y,z position of an object) to an excel file!
Is it possible?
My intention is to have an effect on motions with an Excel-Chart or something else in order to control a simulation of a machine. I would like to change my animation through changing parameters.

Or is there any alternative?
