I'm working on modelling a realistic desktop environment. You can see I used ART for reflections. I'm neglecting shadows at the moment until I'm done with primary modelling. i'll later turn it into an advertisment for the speakers, with shallow DOF and the like of professional quality and photorealism. Tell me how it's looking (both model- and render-wise) so far!

HERE IT IS: THe final version. Yup, I'm done, I'd say. both the final and some scene setup and wireframe stuff can be found below. PLEASE criticize, hack me to pieces and show me just HOW BAD I'm doing. This is my first 'liesurely', 'skill-sharpening' project to keep myself in check, so pleeeeaaaase tell me how it looks!
(It's a standard AA'd ART render combined with a SL AO pass, btw.)

Hey, cello! It does look nice, but it unfortunately wasn't fast- I'd prefer to render with shadows and no reflections, if that were an option. Shadows can certainly convey more depth or realism than reflections can.
Haha, nice one, cooldude! I'll be honest any say I just ripped that image somewhere off of Google, since I'd've had to go through the greuling process of logging into my brother's account to get the image I needed. Thanks, in any case!
