ronaldefarmer:
Hello Anim8ors,
Occasionally while using this fun and amazing program, I like to click the "About" button and read Steve's warranty. I particularly like this part: "Anim8or is just a program that I write in my spare time and give away at no cost. I can't promise anything but that I will try to fix any problems that my time allows." I just think that is very cool. Where can you get anything valuable for free anymore? I enjoy being part of the Anim8or Community and appreciate all of the talented and helpful people who contribute here.

Lots of places:

Well OK, those are some great links--especially Wings and Blender.

Big difference there, though... anim8or pretty much always has been one guy's project giving us a fun and relatively easy-to-learn program which, while not "all that" by some standards, serves greatly and easily for introducing the concepts of 3DCG.
I love anim8or, and really never could get myself to learn anything else in the venue.
Steve, it's great to see you've been back on the scene during my "away" period. Thanks for being here originally, and for coming back!

Arik_the_Red: That is actually what I was trying to say about Anim8or. Also, I have been greatly impressed lately by support from Steve and other members of the Anim8or community.
