Well, in that case, then, I'm not sure what you mean by "its veracity has been challenged". WIPs certainly don't have to be shown in their final forms.

Perhaps "challenged" is too strong a word ... The comment was simply: "this dose not look like it was created in celestia"  :)

Some of the visual effects in the video tend to be difficult to persuade Celestia to produce on its own, but I can think of ways to create them. There seems to be some flickering in some of the glowing elements, for example. Of course, there's no reason why you shouldn't apply some post-processing to improve the appearance.

Actually, there is no post-processing of the video, it is a straight capture from Celestia ... all I've added to the video is a watermark.
As you've recognized, although some of these effects are difficult to create in Celestia, there are ways to do so, and in this case WYSIWYG (everything you see is part of the addon), although it remains to be seen if I will publish all (or any) of these features ...
