I think @Steve made a good job bringing ART into anim8or... rendering options in anim8or are pretty good especially the ART for cartoon work...but then if you want to make your renders more good...you could just export your anim8or object and render it with another 3d software(Like blender ,Autodesk,etc)...90% of 3d softwares support OBJ...alternatively you could just edit your anim8or render with photoshop,weaver,krita and etc.
