*cough* that's sentence structure *cough*...  ;)

hihosilver:
Everyone please get back on topic.  Do not start a flame war on this forum, it's disrespectful to the thread starter, and childish as well.

Back on topic, I hope you can get the saloon file working with your computer.  It had good potential.

RnDr FOX:
I got my computer to work *YAY*  Well here is the latest version of my saloon and like I said I will take c & c on it so have at it ;D
Also what is the easiest way to make a chain link so I have something to hold up the signs and I also dont like how the barrel turned out so i will fix it any ideas on how to do that and to top it all off I forgot to add windows :-[  one more thing, this render uses scaline and when I tried ART I got these unnecessary shadows how do I get rid of them?    So what do you think

ENJOY ;D

hihosilver:
RnDr FOX, nice progress there on the saloon.  It'd be nice to see more than just a front view though, perhaps a perspective view?  The door looks better, but the roof still needs to be raised up a good deal.  The building size needs to be increased as well.  Think about walking in there, right now, one person could fit through the door, then one person on the right and one on the left.  That's not much room considering there's probably a bar inside.  That would be a pretty cramped saloon!  So I'd advise you increase the wall sizes by a lot.  Remember you want to keep this realistically sized to a human.

Now, as for your question about chain links, I'd go about it by just copy/pasting and rotating.  So you can create a single simple chain link, then rotate it 90 degrees around the y-axis.  Then move it down to where it would rest on the previous link.  You can then copy/paste this double link, and drag it down again, you can continue this until you have a length you want.  That would by my method.

As for the ART renderer, shadows are default right now, Steve forgot to turn them off.  So, in the next Anim8or update they shouldn't be automatically on.  But, sadly right now, the shadows will stay.

For a chain you can use the torus-plugin at the scripts link left. When using the method hihosilver suggested it will give you a nice chain, a bit high poly maybe. A good transmap will do too if it isnt to much at the foreground.
The saloon look fine, but the proportions seem a bit of. Take a good look at reference images of saloon like this one: http://www.jolly-jumper.nl/saloon3.gif .
