Although the subject is not really my "thing" I greatly admire the work.

Falloffalot:  I guess the only thing I can say about smooth movement is to plan the video well, and use as few keyframes as possible.  The more keyframes, the more likely you will get a jerky video.

Kubajzz:  I agree, the feeling of speed doesn't really kick in until (for me) the last few seconds of the animation before the credits.  I have a few ideas (suggested in cc's across various forums) that might help to return a feeling of speed, and I think adding sound effects would help considerably too.  And yes, I did use lots of emissive maps, derived from copyright free photographs.

Looks good, but i'm bit missing the feeling of speed. It all seems not to go so fast, you might want to speed up some scenes a bit. Or a some directional blur using a good video editing program. Overall its really nice.

Now I can say I felt the speed, mainly in the first half of the animation. Good luck in the competition!
