another minor suggestion: timeline scrollbar
siragin:
thats nothing. Im working on a project and it has 3000 frames so far and I have to go to the scene menu and type in the frame i want to go to instead of clicking to the next frame.

siragin: i can't think of anything to say to that. i am stunned by the mere thought of trying to animate such a huge scene! :P
anyway, you just gave me another idea: as well as having a scrollbar, it'd also be nice if that little box at the bottom of the screen, where it shows the frame number, could be typed in, so you could go to a specific frame number by typing it in, without having to go through the menus to access the 'current frame' box. that way you could use the typing box if you were sure exactly where you wanted to go, and the scrollbar if you weren't. :)

Guys, don't go off-topic, but cool ideas.
karate5662:
you can jump to a specific frame though.
double click on the timeline. in the window that opens up, there is a box that says "current", you can enter a number in there to jump to a specific frame.
Steve:
Some sort of scrolling capability, similar to what 3D Studio MAX has (or had in the last version of it the I used), is on "the list' of things I wan't to do. But it is a very long list :)
