Title: Object disappears when I switch to figure mode even when “show object” option is

Every time I try to “bone” an object it disappears, and I have the show objects tab selected.
I am new to this program, and 3D modeling but I have managed to learn some of the basics.
I followed the instructions from the online manual and still I cant see the model at all while I’m trying to add bones, can some one please tell me what I’m doing wrong or what I should be doing. I need to see the model as I make the bones so I can have a reference.

Have you added the object in figure mode? Read through the manual for more information about rigging.
