Title: Anim8or on Vista

Hey peeps

im not too sure if theres already a topic referring to whether or not Anim8or can work on the Windows Vista platform, but oh well :P lol ....

Im getting myself a Quadcore pretty sooon i hope, which runs on Vista. I need to know if ill be able to continue using anim8or or not :S

i hope  i can ... ive been using it for several years now lol but a new pc will produce much better renders etc

I got anim8or to work on vista, but you might need to set somethings, you can look in the menu "Vista Problems". Another thing is that I don't thing anim8or supports multi cores.

Anim8or works fine with vista, there are some problems but most of them can be fixed. Read through the Vista problems (http://anim8or.com/download/index.html#vista) section for more info. This question has been asked alot on the forum, please try a topic search before starting a new topic.

It doesn't, but when you have multiple cores (especially when running vista) go render>multithreaded. This will make anim8or more stable, because communication with the OS will be better.
