Title: Saving a file??

I'm completely new to graphics animation of ANY kind. I made something on the grid screen, I saved it as a .an8 file and now when I try to open the file back up, I get a black screen. The image looked great when I was working on it so I saved it. I cannot get it to open back up again. I tried clicking on the Open on Previous box and still nothing. I can see the file. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!

That sounds very strange.  Would you mind sending me the file?  Perhaps I could help find if it's a computer issue or an issue with the anim8or file.
