Title: Some Random Crystal Disco Ball Thingys

I was messing around with textures and I got this cool render(Looked pretty neat to me :))

Tell what me what you think they are. :)

they're weird, but yeah, they are pretty neat.  i'd guess they're some sort of futuristic, high-tech equivalent of a crystal ball.  what sort of material / texture / render settings did you use to get that effect?

Looks like like you used CHECKS, I remember in my early Anim8or days, when I just messed around with the tools, I used CHECKS as well

Yeh it does look like checks to me too, now that Tanzim mentions it, EcoTyler needs to clarify on that. I think it looks good, kinda cool looking to.  :)

Chrome texture and the bumpmap is the checks ;D

Yeah cool! It looks kinda futuristic. is it supposed to be futuristic, if it is you have done a good job!
