Anim8or Challenges / Re: [ VOTE NOW! ]Challenge #4: Indoor Render

Nice work everyone. And thankyou for the votes!

Quote
could you share some of the lighting effects you did? like the light on the walls and the look of the window.
The blur is just right, nice touch!

Sure, I can give a quick explanation.

I use 4 lights to light my scene. 2 omni, 1 spot and 1 area.

I rendered the image.

Then I render an AO pass.

I rendered the chair and used it to make a cheap depth of field mask.

I also made a mask for the window for the dust and the lightrays.

Then I composed all the layers and added some more blurring and other effects.

Not much of an explanation, but if I had more time I would go into more detail. I hope that helped a little.

Great work everyone. All your work is look'n pretty good.

I haven't done a render in anim8or for a long time, and this gave me a chance to try the new occlution shader so I went ahead and made this render. Took 2 days.

I used Photoshop and anim8or versions .95 .97d for this image.

Oh, so it was reported. woopsydaisy

Here is a simple render of a crate in Art.

Now here is the same scene with scanline renderer.

Edit: I forgot, I left the materials exactly how they are at default exept for the texture maps and and I set the attributes too specular/reflection.

This same bug always happens every time I use texture maps in my scene.

I don't know if this has been reported of not, but when I render in Art, most of the time objects with textures on them will render funny. The textures on the objects will be blured or scaled in various parts.

If no one knows what I'm talking about I can show a few examples.

That is perfect CobraSpectre :) :), You save me hours of work. I can't thankyou enough.

But can I bug you just one more time, can you make it so that you can deside how many frames it stays visible at a time. I need it to stay visible for 2 frames instead of one.

ASL Scripts / Requesting a simple controler script

Hey, I would realy appreciate it if someone could make a script for me.

I need a script that can control the visiblity of an object. I need it to be so that the object will be visible for one frame every second. And also so that you can choose the starting frame.

I need it so I can play a one second video continously.

Is this scrip possible to make?

I don't know the first thing about scripting. I need to learn. But for now I just need this one script.

Thanks
