. I was trying to create something simple like anime styled model, but i don't know how to do it
, you're right, i think the head is a bit squarish. Actually i have a problem in creating the back of the head. What i did is extruding the edges of the face and then joined their vertice...But i'm still not satisfied with this method. I need a more efficient one...

. Some people suggested me to use only quad, and some others told me that the best topology for low polygonal modelling is using tris. Which one is best according to Your opinion and experience?

, i think it would be nicer if You add a gradient for the sky

wow, it's a very romantic scene...

Double click on object in object select mode
set working divisions to 0
build > convert to mesh
repeat for each object you want want to merge
select all the meshes > build > join solids
build > convert to subdivided
done!

I take it that you are trying to edge loop?Well, what is edge loop? It sounds interesting to me...
Are you using the "add edge" tool on a mesh?
Create your staring cube then convert to mesh, select the Add Edge tool and loop away.
Start at a point (not an edge) then each line end point will turn red and snap to the nearest point.
Perhaps you're in the wrong viewing mode? If you're in the smooth shaded mode, you wont be able to see the vertices or edges you create. Be sure you're in wireframe mode when holding shift and clicking/dragging the mouse.
